Most likely, out of the 5k CDs, combined w/the 2k cassettes lying next to ,hmm, 3k LPs, alongside the 200 8 tracks, joined with over 50 hours of Teac reel-2-reel . . . and yes, I'm a caveman . . . only a caveman would have Teac reel-2-reel.

But the accoustics in a cave are wonderful!

It's the hand-cranked generator that wears my arm out. Plus the steady drip from the stalactites shocks me from time to time . . .

I'll join you on that Marcus....I prefer the cave acoustics also... :guitar:

Recently fell in love with "The Rain Song" by Led Zeppelin. Plus it's best to play during rain storms (oh, really?).

I've also been playing The Wall's first CD and Physical Graffiti's second CD:

(In the Flesh?, The Thin Ice, Another Brick in the Wall (Part 1), The Happiest Days of Our Lives, Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2), Mother, Goodbye Blue Sky, Empty Spaces, Young Lust, One of My Turns, Don't Leave Me Now, Another Brick in the Wall (Part 3), Goodbye Cruel World, In the Light, Bron-Yr-Aur, Down by the Seaside, Ten Years Gone, Night Flight, The Wanton Song, Boogie with Stu, Black Country Woman, Sick Again).

This week I have frequently been listening to

THIS , THIS , and THIS on a cracking Danielle Dax compilation tape.

In between times, I've been listening to the excellent "Kilimanjaro" album by The Teardrop Explodes (on the other side of the tape).

YOU TOO CAN LISTEN TO DANIELLE DAX - AT LEAST FOUR ORIGINAL AND EXCITING TRACKS - AT HER MYSPACE WEB-PAGE

What I've been playing alot more of lately is what I took for granted before: Jeff Healey

Anybody who has heard of his passing but isn't very familiar with his music I urge you to take 20 minutes or so and listen to a few video's I've got. You don't need to, but if you're familiar with guitar playing you may want to watch as well, instead of just minimizing and coming back to the threads. He was Canada's guitar legend.

Angel Eyes

Roadhouse Blues (live cover)

Cruel Little Number

While My Guitar Gently Weeps (awesome cover)

I just put on Górecki's Symphony No.3 (of Sorrowful Songs). Last I heard it was when I was much littler and my grandfather had it playing at home. I was so spellbound I asked him what it was. Still has me captivated.

wow, that's a trip down memory lane

most of 'then'..almost nothing of now:p

I was a bit confused at first - when I read something like that here on SF, I'd expect a list of 60s and 70s songs, not 90s ;)
