scott Posted July 11, 2004 Report Posted July 11, 2004 I'm gonna make a couple posts here in the CW forum in an attempt to gather more people into this wonderful place..these posts will be more noninclusive so people who don't nessacarily write can join in the conversation, yet the posts will be 'creative writing based' Okay, what do you all consider to be your biggest influences in writing style (I suppose that this post is a little more inclusive, but oh well ) Personally I look up to three 1)Kurt Cobain (duh 2)Michael Stipe 3)John Lennon
lucylooloo Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 well for "inspiration" for writing i don't nessescarily (sp?)get pumped up and itch to write from people most of the time i am seeing something that just sparks and i feel like writing about it in song or just a story or whatever. some songs really inpsire me to write also
MindCrime Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 nessescarily (sp?) necessarily -------- I really don't rely on celebrity influence in writing, but one person I?m partial to is my father?s way, other than that, everything I write is based on what I learned throughout college.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 [ strokes invisible goatee ] LOL! Now that's funny, lucylooloo.
lucylooloo Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 thank you!!! [blushes] ahh this place is great! so nice! you know what? someone rated me five stars! is that not amazing? i am amazed.
MindCrime Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 I didn't get my first star rating until like 500 posts I think, but that makes sense, since I'm the unnoticeable mysterious guy covered by obscure clouds that don't do justice. Another 5 stars for you Lucy LooLoo!, I think I've rated just about everyone 5 stars on this site, twice.
Jillianne Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Whoa!! Mindcrime, is that you? when did you get like 1800 posts?!

MuzikTyme Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 LOL! Now that's funny, lucylooloo. Looloo's a riot. Hopefully, she's not stroking an invisible goat. I may start to be concerned, for the goat.
Danielj Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 Neil Young Roger Waters David Gilmour Leonard Cohen
Surrealisticpillows Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 I usually get my "Insperado" from my own emotions. Too many emotions...But I think I was somehow effected by the whole grunge era. So I will give that some credit.
marko90 Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 I'd Say my 3 MAIN influences would be... 1- Seether 2- Three Days Grace 3- Evanescence though its basically any group with lyrical substance.
