Twin performers would be too easy to guess. The duo I'm thinking of are not related at all, but coincidentally, they were born on the same day and year.

But a good find of two people from the same group with the exact same birth day and year who aren't related, Zab.

The name of their duo make them sound like a band, if you didn't know that they weren't, because their name starts with the word "The". They both play guitar. They were a one-hit wonder in 1960. That song was a Top 10 hit in the U.S. and Top 40 hit in the UK. More clues to follow if needed.
