Shawna Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 My sister had to get surgery for a torn meniscus (sp?) but she didn't attain hers through anything fun, like sports. Her 150+ pound dog jumped up and threw his weight on her knee. Took a long, long time to heal, even after the surgery. But then just a month or so ago she discovered that the doctor who'd done the surgery has recently had his license revoked for prescribing himself pain meds.
