skybluesky Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 ^ Not bad, C-girl, but that can't beat the raw talent and musicianship in this nugget of goodness. This is why you are my favorite person ever. You rank higher than Ben/and/or/Jerry. Erik Estrada-Taking the Kool out of Kool and the Gang since 1982.

Tenacious_Peaches Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 Mr. Peaches and I were watching an 80s playlist on MTV Hits when this video came on. I loved this song back in the day, but the updated video freaked me out. Pete Burns doesn't even look like a human being anymore. The description of the video says that this is how he looked on Celebrity Big Brother, so some of you may have already have seen his transformation, but this is all new to me. Sweet baby Jesus in the manger, I will never get this image out of my head. You Spin Me Round - Dead or Alive
Levis Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 I didn't realise that was him I wasn't much surprised by his look in the real video... it was the 80s. But this... is... kinda... unexpected?
Tenacious_Peaches Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 I just heard this on the radio and I'm digging on it. I have the feeling I'll be sick of it by next week, but it makes me happy right this second. Apologize - Timbaland ft One Republic Fast forward to a month and a half later... If I hear this &^%)ing song one more time, I will rip my ear drums out with my bare hands.

c_s_1987 Posted December 27, 2007 Author Report Posted December 27, 2007 I don't think Airbourne's album has been released in the US yet, so I think it's time I introduced everyone here to them. All AC/DC fans must listen to this song. You could say they are ripping off AC/DC, but then again, you could just say they are influenced by them. Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast - Airbourne (2007)
Tenacious_Peaches Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 ^ Holy crap, Chris, I love that! Here is their MySpace page. I'm digging "Diamonds in the Rough". Here's a video from my new favorite movie that I haven't even seen yet, "Walk Hard". Pay attention to the lyrics and the perfectly placed pauses. Let's Duet
Tenacious_Peaches Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 I am completely digging this... Chasing Pavements - Adele

Farin Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Underwater Love ~ Smoke City After the rain comes sun After the sun comes rain again After the rain comes sun After the sun comes rain again
The Seeker Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 I couldn't quite believe my eyes when I found this short clip: it's real, great quality footage of the Who playing Leeds in 1970. For years and years people believed that there was no footage of it, and the album was the only thing left of the performance, but some of it surfaced on a new DVD (which I need to get my hands on): Christmas -- The Who (live at Leeds) The bits in colour are from the Isle of Wight, but the black-and-white ones are from Leeds. I really do hope there's more, but this quite incredible already...
