daslied
1. Cap 2. A dog. Head with ears/whiskers, paws for feet and a tail. I don't know what the hell I'm saying. 3. Queue I didn't actually get the last one right, so Levis has to choose someone. Edited July 6, 2006 by Guest Damn you, Farin. Always beating me. Tenacious_Peaches
2. A dog. Head with ears/whiskers, paws for feet and a tail. I don't know what the hell I'm saying. And yet you said it anyway.

MindCrime
I don't have much luck with posting this unknown deal called thread "spoilers", but I had to change the 2nd quick riddle, because the answer was too simplistic.
Levis
I was having a drink of water and I thought about Das' answer to my question and I nearly choked. (from laughing) MindCrime's put up a question so we can carry on from there
daslied
Hey, just because you're smarter than me doesn't mean you can laugh at my ineptitude.
Levis
I am just moving this thread to the first page... is there an answer here? Is there a question here? PS: Fret not, Das... I am not really smarter than you... that's just an illusion.
Farin
Well is there still a riddle to be solved? Or should someone post a new one?
Uncle Joe
Post a new one, please.
Farin
The only thing I can think of at the moment is another of theses yes/no riddles (like Romeo & Juliett the goldfish ) But since nobody else seems to have one I'll post it anyway... In a desert there is a long line of various articles of clothing. At the end of that line lies a dead, naked man face down in the sand and clutches a straw in his hand. All around there are no footprints. What happened? You can ask yes or no questions...
The Seeker
Do all the clothes belong to him?
Farin
ooh a customer (and it took only 4 hours for the first one to arrive ) a very good question - No, not all the clothes belong to him...
Tenacious_Peaches
Was the straw to drink the snowman that melted in the desert heat?
Farin
Nope, but a good idea anyway What other uses could a straw have? (look at Fintan's question and the answer)
The Seeker
This is driving me nuts. Maybe he drank the sea... But then where are the people to who the clothes belong? Did he drink with the straw at all?
Farin
I think you have to ask more questions... Did he take th clothes of because it was hot? - No. There aren't any footsteps - were they're in a car? No, there aren't any tracks of any kind... We already gathered that he wasn't alone - did the other person kill him? - No... maybe that helped...
TheTallOne
Did he jump out a plane with his suitcase and it opened on the way down and he hit the ground and died?
Tenacious_Peaches
Tall One! He jumped out of the plane because there were snakes on it!
The Seeker
Maybe he was actually on a beach and it was ebb? But on the other hand, what would he do with a straw then... Edited July 14, 2006 by Guest
Farin
not really, but close. Let's say the cause of death is the right one, but it wasn't a plane, he din't have a suitcase and the clothings are lying in a line with some distance between them... EDIT: Fintan: no, it's a desert (which isn't really important, other than the no-footsteps thing) Peachy: Edited July 14, 2006 by Guest you're just too fast for me
