since I'm a bit bored, I show you a great video (and song) and because I'm extra nice I'll even through in a translation of the lyrics for you ;):)

the song's actually a cover version of the fabulous Rio Reiser

Ich bin müde ~ Fettes Brot

I'm tired

You are too warm, I am too cold

You are too young, I am too old

You are too poor, I am too rich

You are too tough, I am too soft

ahhaaaaahhhh...

You are too high, I am too down

You are too serious, I am a clown

I keep you low, you bring me up

I won't go on, but you won't give up

ahhaaaaahhhh...

Everything's rubble and ashes

Everything's smoke and dust

Everything's tricks and scams

Everything's dead leaves

ahhaaaaahhhh...

I am tired

You think ahead, I'm thinking back

I am ill-starred, You only have luck

You are the greatest, I am bankrupt

I am a devil, you are a god

You're bringing money, I'm throwing it out

You're walking through fire and I'm walking home

ahhaaaaahhhh...

Everything's rubble and ashes

Everything's smoke and dust

Everything's tricks and scams

Everything's dead leaves

ahhaaaaahhhh...

I am tired

You know the truth, I don't even (know) you

You are the love, I only love myself

I am so tense, You are so free

You come 2:30 and I half past two

ahhaaaaahhhh...

Everything's rubble and ashes

Everything's smoke and dust

Everything's tricks and scams

Everything's dead leaves

ahhaaaaahhhh...

I am tired

Yesterday, I saw a video for Dave Berry's "The Crying Game," which looks like it was the inspiration for The Alan Parsons Project's "Don't Answer Me."

Man, these are sad, but I can't help really liking them.

I don't know about anybody else, but I find that the recent movement of the "Random Music Videos" thread out of "Music Discussion" and into the "Random Thoughts" forum (why? it make no sense...), has caused a little confusion. It is entirely to be expected that occasionally, in a moment of uncharacteristic carelessness, some may inadvertantly- and with no ill-intention whatsoever- post "Random Music Videos" in this thread, whose specific purpose, apparently- is the appreciation of the attributes (creativity, beauty, narrative qualities, etc.) of the music video as an art-form in itself.

An occasional reminder of this thread's intended purpose may be helpful to ensure we don't succumb, repeatedly, to the same errors, time and again. Just to spare us from looking a bit daft, eh?
