OLD 55
Onya Das ! The DJs used to call it "vocal gymnastics". I couldn't believe it the first time I heard it. I can't think of a song of his I don't like; + he had a great stage prescence. I've got some old B & W clips of his - mainly from the "Shindig" TV series. What a mover he was. phil
Darryl, A young Berry Gordy co-wrote Lonely Teardrops and Reet Petite. Sadly, Jackie was singing Lonely Teardrops at a Dick Clark oldies show in 1975 when he had a heart attack. He fell and hit his head and was in a coma for 8 years before he died.
