PSYCHOcatholic
Wow! Talk about contraversy! This is a very contraversial show...but, its a very good show. It kinda reminds me of a twisted version of 7th heaven. Except this one is funny and more real. Anybody else see this tonight? Anybody watching it at the moment? here a poll... _Laurie_
Wow my thoughts exactly.....I was thinking 7th heaven also with an edge....I loved it, and I don't know why it's so controversial, there's way worse things on TV than this, and I don't think it was bad at all...It's reality...Unlike 7th heaven where all problems are solved within the hour. Brad_M
I haven't seen it. I gave up TV for 4 years before I moved to AZ. Since arriving here 3 months ago, the only shows I watch are: > Medium > Stacked
Shawna
It's like the upcoming "The DaVinci Code." You have to wonder why, exactly, the Catholic Church is so against this being released... "Me think they doth protest too much."
PSYCHOcatholic
As a Catholic...i still think things are being hidden from us just like the government hides stuff from us.
Jimmy1104
PC....I was baptized a Catholic but always felt the same. There are too many secrets in the church. Usually that would mean scandals are being hidden. Then again this should be left for another thread. How have you been?
PSYCHOcatholic
Ive been great! MMk, about Book of Daniel...the "Priest" in it is Episcopalian. Not Catholic. One of his Best Friends that helps him out is a Catholic priest...and his other best friend is Jesus. This is no joke...Jesus is a character in the show...played by an actual person...and Jesus is HILARIOUS!
Tenacious_Peaches
...and Jesus is HILARIOUS! That reminds me of "Seinfeld". George asks Jerry if Superman has a sense of humor. Jerry says "He's got super strength and super intellect, of course he's got super humor." I'm paraphrasing, by the way. That might not be exactly it, but it's close enough. Sweet Jane 61
I only saw a little of the show...but loved what I saw! Hope it stays on. Laurie you mentioned 7th Heaven, a show I have watched since it began, and now it is ending...I was bummed. Only 11 episodes left.
PSYCHOcatholic
Its run its course...these kids...these adults even, its been there lifestyle completely. I would guess its time for them to go there seperate ways. And just think...theres gonna be a made for tv movie in a year or so anyway. Then the E! Insiders will start up on all the stuff that went on inside 7th heaven! So have no fear...the Media is here!

Sweet Jane 61
Bummer news...just read that the show has been dropped by NBC. They didn't give it enough of a chance!
Uncle Joe
NBC must be on drugs lately. They've cancelled a couple of the best shows on TV and they place others against shows on other networks that cannot be beaten in the ratings. They used to have the best line-up for years...now they are sad.
daslied
Yeah, do they think they're Fox or something?
Sweet Jane 61
I don't know if anyone here was a fan or not...but when NBC canceled American Dreams I was surprised. That was a good show in my opinion and you could watch it with kds and they could learn some history from the show.

Otokichi
The "18-34 demographic" strikes again! And this group supposedly delights in seeing the bold and the beautiful break all Ten Commandments before the first commercial break. Speaking of controversy, it takes something like "Bruce Almighty" to make a small dent in the public consciousness. Oh for the simpler days when Whoopi Goldberg was upsetting church leaders for "Sister Act." These days, not even the talking toys of "Wonderfalls" made much of imprression.
