SoulGirl Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 I just got an 229KB email with the subject 'Happy Halloween from Brad and Shawna'. when i clicked on it it was a jumble of letters and looked suspiciously like a virus. just wondering if anyone else has had the same? wondering also how anyone would have my email address?
edna Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 Maybe Shawna or Brad have your adress? Maybe you posted it on the thread where we posted our e-mail adresses?
edna Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 I got that e-mail too... yes, it looks like it´s a virus cause it says something like "I have a witch" and "Now you have it too". I never posted my e-mail adress so I don´t know how it got to me. It´s the adress I used to register. And I never e-mailed with Brad nor Shawna... but I believe it might be cause when you send PT they also go into the account you registered on. And we did send Pts... Sould we post a big warning? I don´t get virus on mac but if you have PC you might get it...
RonJonSurfer Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 I got it, but noticed no ill effects. It was just a variety of halloween wishes. (and witches).
Tenacious_Peaches Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 Leave it to him to wreak havoc around Halloween.
Brad_M Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 BOO! Relax everyone. It was an email from Shawna and me wishing everyone a Happy Halloween. It was like Ron said, a few pictures with Halloween wishes. It is not a virus and it was sent to each of you who posted your email address on the site at one time or other. Gisela, I don't remember you posting yours on the site but I got it when you posted that joke email on the site and I took the test and it was sent back to you. Happy Halloween, everyone!
edna Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Wow, will you send it again to me, please? I deleted it!! Now, I didn´t post my e-mail... you must have some fine connections... Or maybe I send it in a PT? So happy halloween for you too!!!
invisible_r Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 aw, i deleted it too because i checked my mail at work where i have a pc
miamisammy29 Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I still think Cyberdemon had something to do with it.
Ken Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I still think Cyberdemon had something to do with it. He wasn't smart enough to pull off something like that......
