Ombre Vivante
HOLY cRIZNAP! There was a huge rumbling of thunder outside that I thought something blew up nearby. It was bright and crisp outside one minute and suddenly it was overcast. The little gray cloud is above my place I had to turn up "Super 16" up to 11 on the dial:

Kevin
That's certainly one thing I envy about S. California life - the marketplace . Anything your heart may desire - someone's got a shop selling it, or a way to get it . I don't think there is anything one can't easily get from around the world there . I imagine the NY area to be the same .
Tony Baloni
Lol Tokyo isn't like that? Detroits a great place to go if you want Ecstasy and incompetent mayors.
Kevin
Unfortunately not . While there is a large selection of goods to be bought , they are either at a) an outrageous price or b ) difficult to locate or just not available . Japanese shops tend to stock what is presently popular rather than trying to be too unique - too risky for a customer base that follows trends like lemmings , generally . You can buy all the trinkets, but you can't buy the place to put them in

A normal salary is less than a very cheap rent.
Ombre Vivante
The avg. house price in the city I live at is a little above 1 mill. I could live in santa ana for a fraction, but I wouldn't exactly call that "living"...
