TenYearsGone Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 Sure thing - British band, this LP was released in 1974, I think. It was their 3rd or 4th release and contained one of their early big hits. The band kept going until well into the 1980's. :guitar: I can't think of anything else at the moment. ::
edna Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 Would it be Moody Blues? Reminds me of Ian Hunter´s style though... Slade?
Aunt_Acid Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 Oh COME ON!!! You people digust me. El Dorado
TenYearsGone Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 No on both, but good try Edna Let's see.....unconventional intruments for a rock band, album title is Spanish-sounding.
edna Posted July 24, 2005 Report Posted July 24, 2005 Chris, yours is 10cc, Deceptive Bends. Sorry, the photoshop master isn´t here...
edna Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 I believe photoshop is an application that you have to install... I really can´t tell you right now, I have to ask my husband when he wakes up. In any case, I did a few tries but if I´m on my own I get lost... I´ll post how to do it asap, I promise. We Mackers feel often lost&lonely, don´t you think? Yes, you must install photoshop. Once you have it, you: 1- copy the picture into your hard disk. 2- open "photoshop" clicking on the apple up left. 3- open new file (on "file", up & left, after the apple... and then "open") ...here comes the mess... I clicked on the pencil and then choosed the black but as I know nothing about this, I had white... 4- so I painted the title of the album and the name of the band and that´s the recipe to get that awfull thing I got... You see, if I ask my husband he´ll do it but he´ll never teach me, so I´m trying to find out on my own. As soon as I make any progress, I´ll tell you about it. No takers? Batman, I´m afraid we´re much too bold... I love your thread!
_jr_ Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 what's this? Edna explaining how to do something on the computer? Ok, I'll be leaving Songfacts now. I have officially seen everything.
edna Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 what's this? Edna explaining how to do something on the computer? Ok, I'll be leaving Songfacts now. I have officially seen everything. I always said I learn a lot in Songfacts, Jr... :: but if you´re leaving because I´m wiser then I´d rather stay as I was... Oh, and !
TenYearsGone Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 let's see...trying to get into the mind of edna is not easy what would she post? :: It's not The Stones, Beatles, or Starship. Not Bob Seeger, Velvet Underground, or Mott. Not Cohen, Blondie, or the Talking Heads. hmmmmmm.......... I give up Edna, we need a hint.
edna Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 British band formed in the late 70´s. Very famous in the 80´s. Started with punk but made also very sweet melodies. Four guys. One is of French origin (or French). Title of the album reffers to that panther we see...
DiggsUK Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 Edna, is it perchance 'Feline' by the Stranglers, featuring one Jean Jaques Burnell? Regards
edna Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 Yes it is, Diggs. Thank you, I was thinking maybe The Stranglers were not that well-known outside Europe... and maybe it´s still true... ::
