edna
"Suzie Q" "I put a spell on you" "Oh Happy Day" and somehow, "Who do you love" I hope it´s not extremely easy... I think "Who do you love" is messing a little bit the game... so I´ll post a change: "Suzie Q" "I put a spell on you" "Oh Happy Day" The Band. Common link for these ones. "Suzie Q", Dale Hawkins "I put a spell on you", Screaming Jay Hawkins "Oh Happy Day", Edwin Hawkins Singers and Ronnie Hawkins, who had a hit with Diddley´s "Who do you love" in the early sixties (he had some others...) was the man who started The Band, working with them separetely from 1960 till mid sixties as a rockabilly group. daslied
OK, since mine kind of sucks, here's a clue: There are tons of other songs with this thing in common, and most people would consider the thing in common quite ridiculous. Second clue - a certain, omnipresent "man" is involved.
bazooka
A 'first person' narrator (I, me) ?
daslied
No. I'd like to withdraw my second clue above; it's relevant, but possibly too vague. New clue: the lyrics are the reason they have something in common, though it doesn't involve a common line, word or theme.
_Laurie_
Ok i dont know too much about poetry, but is it the form that it is written, they way the last words rhyme?
daslied
No, nothing technical about the lyrics.

daslied
Though that's correct, Edna, it's not what I'm looking for. It also doesn't directly involve bands, bandanas or bandoliers. The randomness of these questions are what makes them fun, eh. I mean, this one could involve something random like a b.b. See?
