skybluesky
As a Seinfeld fan, you should at least acknowledge Julia Louis-Dreyfuss from that era..
MindCrime
I was mostly referring to the 80-81 season which was before she joined. I really haven't seen much of those episodes (before my time) but the reruns I did see on Comedy Central years ago were awful. They almost had to cancel the show, good thing they were able to revive it for future generations.
RockyRaccoon
And don't forget Robert Downey Jr. in the 80s! Or Paul Giamatti

skybluesky
Top Ten SNL Characters sounds like a good future thread. How would this work exactly? Cast members play multiple characters, Belushi for example had The Samuri, Elwood Blues, one of the Killer Bees, The Greek Diner guy, and I'm sure more I can't remember. The final list could end up being very heavy on one cast member. And then there are the tandem characters - ie, Wayne and Garth, Lisa and Todd, etc. Lisa Loopner just isn't the same without Todd DiLaMuca. They're one big nerdy unit. I guess I'm more curious than I'm trying to be negative.
bluesboy
I'm sure it could easily be worked out, but let's not hijack this thread now.
Shawna
I don't think it really matters if it's heavily one cast member or another, since it's characters we'd be voting on. For example, there are some characters that Belushi played that I loved, and some I didn't really like... doesn't matter that it was Belushi that played them. That's sort of how I was thinking about that, anyway... **end of hijack. Edited November 20, 2010 by Guest

Steel2Velvet
you guys are all killin' me. It's Dan Aykroyd, not Ackroyd. Oh sure ... drop the Jewish spelling, anyway. Ron might not count those as they weren't nominated, and doing it backwards would've confused me if I were the one doing the vote counting. edit: talk about coincidental, 3 people voted in a 2 minute span Aw, I don't mind write-in votes. Happened during PTTs one time. I listed the vote as a write-in. It's cool. MT was not here for noms, so these work as his noms.
