edna
Turn the Page - Metallica (1998) Mad World - Tears for Fears (1982) "Mad World" has my vote I nominated it two or three times Now, "Turn The Page" is a song I love but it already made it by Bob Seger... I think that nominating songs that already made it it's a bit tricky, even if it's another version... like nominating Beatles' songs...

Viaene
I know this is a cover, but imo it's the best version of this song: Quando Quando Quando - Engelbert Humperdinck and my second nomination is something completely different: Phenomena - Yeah Yeah Yeah's

Uncle Joe
The Jaggerz-The Rapper 1970 It was a big novelty hit. Jerry Butler-Make It Easy On Yourself 1962 Awesome song written by Burt Bacharach and sung by a far too underrated singer. Farin
one blues rock: Devil in Me ~ 22-20s (2004) (youtube) this song supposedly got famous by a Vauxhall/Opel commercial in 2006, but tbh I don't remember that and one progressive metal: Schism ~ Tool (2001) (youtube*) * the video starts with a short prelude called 'Mantra', the song itself starts at 0:30 I just read what happened the last time this was nominated in TT#200 ... man, those were times The most interesting thing about this track is obviously the time signature. According to wikipedia the meter changes 47 times (!) during the song... if you think that probably 95% of all pop/rock songs have a standard 4/4 meter throughout the song that's pretty impressive I guess
Viaene
wow, I was thinking about nominating that song this week Martin. It'll obviously get a high vote from me!
