OLD 55
edna, you missed the New rule that Kenne suggested and we've adopted. N.B. You are only allowed to vote down a maximum of 2 songs in the Top Ten. (Sorry Kenne and bazooka: I acidentally deleted a couple of Posts. )
Lucky
I'm confused. One of the very last posts in GO #25 says: JUST VOTE "AS USUAL" NEXT WEEK. OK ? And I've looked but I don't see any announcement of a change in voting. If there has been one, I think it needs to be made more clear.
OLD 55
O.K. It wasn't there. I edited the first Post - I'll change it back again. My apologies to Laurie as she knew nothing about it. I thought we'd gotten over voting down half the Top Ten. I'm sure dear edna wasn't trying to manipulate it though. If you feel I should resign because I changed the post and want someone else to run it, just let me know whom, and I'll PT the accumulated points to that person. Lucky
Huh? My apologies, I think perhaps I was misunderstood. I just wanted an explanation of the new rule?
OLD 55
There isn't a new rule Lucky. Kenne suggested we do that - limit voting down songs in the Top Ten to two only - but I didn't think it necessary at the time. No need for you to apologize. You were just after clarification. Again, I'm happy to hand over to anyone else if you (plural) would like me to resign. I did try to influence edna's votes, didn't I ?
edna
I voted like I always did. Was that bad or not the rule? If you want me to vote down just two songs, let me know and I'll do it. But now I see everybody voted down five songs, as usual. I'm lost. I don't want you to resign, Darryl, I just want someone to explain me what I'm supposed to do... Lucky
I don't think that anyone is trying to influence anything .... and of course, NO ONE wants you to go anywhere Darryl! No harm done, just a mistake. Lets just continue as it was in the beginning, with no change. If the songs turn over quickly, so what? Couldn't they just as easily turn over that quickly in "real life"? Or, if a change is needed, maybe we should take some time to consider it, and see what might work best? OLD 55
That's alright Kid. You've done nothing outside the Rules. Thanks Lucky, Kenne, Laurie and Elena for your Posts and PTs. I'll go along with Lucky and NOT bring in any new rules. I'll trust in our discretion to use the Minus votes wisely, their purpose being to - "Vote down 5 Existing songs in Top 40 you don't really care for, or you think could make way for other New songs". Please don't be upset by my 'brain explosion'. The Doc started me on some new medication last week, but the side effects were far worse than any benefit gained from the pills. I flushed them down the toilet. Thanks to Elena, Laurie and bazooka for voting.
