bazooka
It's My Life - The Animals (1965) (Should have been in the 10 long ago) Success! When I first nominated It's My Life for Top Ten #2, it finished with a disappointing 17 points. The song is forty-three years old, but it's a timeless classic. MindCrime
I'm glad It's My Life made it at number one, I thought it was a good song and I hadn't really heard that one before, which is rare for a song that I listen to for the first time. Steel2Velvet
Oh no no Not foot-tapping-waiting. I'm still waiting for someone else too. Sorry about that, Seeker. I fugured I shouldn't vote, since I didn't nominate this week. I like this Top Ten! Special.

J Hill
You know what the problem is.... nothing just seems to look that great these days. It's like a general malaise, if that's the right word. Or, maybe it's just me. Anyway, kind of I liked it! I nom'ed a song that finsihed dead last! There's something special about a total loser. edna
I like some of the songs... I´m glad "It´s My Life" made it... though I didn´t vote for it (it would have been my number 12...). I just noticed my nom made it... I like this top. I don´t care how old the songs are. Of course, due to my old age I love old songs cause they bring memories... and cause they´re far better than most of all the new stuff...

When you've gotten to 1480 songs in the TT, it's hard to have another 10 that everyone loves. But it's a good chance to get in songs that have been overlooked before. For example, with an essentially hard rock crowd, I was finally able to get in a flagbearer of the disco era, the Bee Gees' Stayin' Alive. And of course I'm very happy about another Paul Simon classic, Loves Me Like a Rock.
_Laurie_
That's very true Cj....I'm happy that Foghat finally got on there also....There's a few REO Speedwagon tunes I really like also, so I'm planning on renominating a couple tunes from them sometime.... Viaene
The top ten covers rock'n roll to disco. But A blues/ Rhythm & Blues/electric blues/... song doesn't stand a chance, maybe we should find some classics in that direction
_Laurie_
I have quite a few blues tunes on my "lista" Viaene!....but then I was thinking of a couple "hair band" tunes for this week also...Oh, I don't know, now you got me thinking about changing my mind again!.... Wow, that's a lot of TT's It says a lot about the mammoth diversity and uniformity of musical taste, that week after week, there are still more 'someone's favorite songs' to come up with  BTW (and not to be a trouble-maker) has anyone ever thought about doing a Top 10 or Fifty or a-Hundred from all the collective TT's

The Seeker
Slow down, slow down. I think for now we're busy with the Personal Top Tens. If you were looking for the Super Ultimate Top Ten (we voted on a list of previous TTs several times. Then we voted on those "Ultimate" Top Tens - which cyberjudge linked to - to get the Super Ultimate TT), it's right here
Lucky
After a lengthy housecall from my friendly (cheap)computer guy, my computer is all well. After checking this weeks results, I gotta say I absolutely love this ten ! These are all classic songs for me, and all songs that I've wanted in there. Skeeter almost got there this time. 1480 songs (I think it's actually 1481 for some reason). That's amazing, huh? When I think that there are many of us that have been here for most, if not all those weeks .... and we're still finding things to nominate, and be excited about ... it's mind boggling and a testament to some thing or other! Tenacious_Peaches
This list tickles me because it's all old fogey stuff with one completely random New Zealand comedy rap song in the middle. I love you freaky people.
