phil
Sammy, I just came from the Town Of Woodstock. I haven't seen the world's biggest kaleidoscope, but I was among the worlds oldest hippies. We went swimming in a mountain "swimmin'"'hole. Met some interesting people. BTW... I did sample some Mother Nature. Edited July 18, 2008 by Guest

TheLizard
You finally did it. Persistence (and, dare I say it, a bit of nagging) pays off. Hey look, my Clash song made it. I didn't think it was going to.
Farin
^ it's the only song I like in it... sorry, not my taste at all... and my nominations got 5 and 8 points (5 and 4 by myself)
The Seeker
I know I nagged you all a bit but it was worth it I really didn't expect a #1. Edited July 18, 2008 by Guest
TheLizard
You don't like the T-Rex song? It seems like something you might.
Farin
You don't like the T-Rex song? It seems like something you might. it does? well, it's not bad or anything, it has a nice riff, but I'm not really a great fan of T-Rex or glam rock in general... TheLizard
I don't know, I've always thought T-Rex sounded ahead of their time.
edna
Hey, Fin got it with a little help from his friends!! Bravo!! Not my fave Top ten this week... but cool anyways... Now, next time I want you all to vote for "Indiana Wants Me", ok? :beady:
Farin
I'm not really a fan of 80s glam rock either but I really don't want to discuss the greatness of specific bands here, so let's just say that I'm not a fan and leave it at that, okay? skybluesky
it does? well, it's not bad or anything, it has a nice riff, but I'm not really a great fan of T-Rex or glam rock in general... And to think I voted for YOUR monkeys with bongos song, or whatever it was, a while back. I'm hurt. On one hand, I'm pleased Fin got Allentown in through sheer perserverence and threats. On the other hand, I wanted to see what he would do if Allentown hadn't made it in.
Farin
Manu Chao's monkey-bongo song, not mine I generally don't pay attention to who nominated a specific song and I'm definitely not passing any kind of judgement on them
Lea
Congrats Fin Honestly that is probably my least favorite Billy Joel song. The lyrics are good but I just don't care for the music. I knew it would make #1 tho. You did an excellent job promoting it I see Karma also got both her songs on the list. Way ta go mommy As for the rest of the list, not my favorite either but it'll do
skybluesky
Well, I think it's clear to every one, if the word monkey appears in a song, I'll most likely vote for it.
Lea
My daughter had an imaginary friend when she was little and it was a monkey. I think she called him Bobo.
