Tony Baloni
This has seriously been killing me, what is this song. The only part I can think of is the chorus, where he goes "Goodbye, My Love" and there's a guitar just hitting a chord at the beginning of every measure, almost sounds like the guitar part from the beginning of Do Ya bye ELO, just going like C G F. I heard it on the radio, and I have sorted through almost every google page and listened to every different song called that, and still, to no avail. Can anyone help me out!!? Tony Baloni
No, that wasn't it, but that was one I didn't even see. What did you use to search? Also, this song sounds like straight ahead early 80's rock. Or maybe late 70's.

Udo
Could it be Time by Alan Parsons Project ? "Goodbye my love" only appears once in the song, though.
Otokichi
I'm not that impressed with Song1.com, since they couldn't find a match for a number of text strings such as: "A time to embrace, a time to refrain from embracing..." "Eagle are gone and no more Caribou..." "You gotta dream when you are young..." "While the storm clouds gather, far across the sea..." Oh well, "Turn! Turn! Turn!," "Guns, Guns, Guns," "Dreams Go By," and "God Bless America" must really be obscure. :sleepy: "Goodbye, my love" turns up in as many as 1000 hits at some song lyrics search sites. As "Johnny 5" once said: "Need more input!" Edited March 30, 2008 by Guest Need more input!

Tony Baloni
If it was "Bye Bye Love" it could be The Cars. This is exactly what it was, I woke up this morning and was playing it trying to figure it out and my dad goes "hey, The Cars". Sorry I'm retarded and thought it was Goodbye My Love. Case solved, thanks for all your help!
