Lea
Early Morning Rain - Gordon Lightfoot Woman - John Lennon I have almost all of Lightfoots albums right up to The Circle Is Small The music on that album sounded kind of tinny to me or something. I wondered at the time what he was doing different. Whatever it was I didn't like it and didn't buy anymore of his music after that. I never really thought he got enough air play here in the states . I was and still am a huge fan of his He's just awesome!!! Oh and I'll have to find a place for Woman to

OLD 55
Hi Tim Lizard ! Well, I really only know a few of their songs. I also nominated Sheena Is A Punk Rocker before. Rockaway Beach still to go. I also like it that the words are nice and easy to remember. That helps at my age. ................................................. Smarty pants Laurie. Next week I might nominate Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue, and We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister. Except they'd have the dreaded 80s Curse. c_s_1987
First I will do something completely against my usual style and nominate a cover version of an already popular song: The Needle And The Damage Done - The Pretenders (2006) (No video or audio, unfortunately ) Now I will do something much more like my style - nominating the original version of a song that had a popular cover: Hard To Handle - Otis Redding (1968)
