  10. I can only speak for myself, but I'm not sure if there is a god. But anyway I don't run around like, No, there's no god, and if there is,well [bleep] him. And I also pray sometimes, when I'm scared or something, just in case there is someone...It's hard to explain, for on one hand I believe, on another I don't. And I have the impression that I'm not the only one who thinks so.

  15. So here's part of an article: Old Slow Hand revealed to BBC Radio 2 last week that he and his former mates in rock's first supergroup, singer-bassist Jack Bruce (news) and drummer Ginger Baker (news), are planning to reunite for four shows next May at London's Royal Albert Hall, the legendary venue where the power trio played its final gig in 1968. Ha! I'll hopefully get the chance to see them!
  16. It might have been this one: Daughters I know a girl She puts the color inside of my world She's just like a maze Where all the walls all continually change I've done all I can To stand on the steps with my heart in my hand Now I'm starting to see Maybe it's got nothing to do with me Fathers be good to your daughters Daughters will love like you do Girls become lovers, who turn into mothers So mothers be good to your daughters too Oh you see that skin It's the same shes been standing in Since the day she was him walking away Now she's left Cleaning up the mess he made So fathers be good to your daughters Daughters will love like you do Girls become lovers, who turn into mothers So mothers be good to your daughters too Boys you can break You'll find out how much they can take Boys will be strong And boys soilder on But boys would be gone without warmth for a womans good, good heart On behalf of every man, looking out for every girl You are the god, and you are the weight of the world On behalf of every man, looking out for every girl You are the god and the weight of the world So fathers be good to your daughters Daughters will love like you do Girls become lovers, who turn into mothers So mothers be good to your daughters to

  20. I've no idea of my favourite lyricist, John lennon maybe. Anyway, my favourite songwriters are Lennon/McCartney, John Lennon solo, Brian Wilson, Jagger/Richards, and above all Pete Townshend.
  21. Sure music needs to develop, but a big part of the music on MTV consists of things like techno cover versions of San Francisco, and I can't really see any value in that, or maybe it's just me. Not even my parents listen to Classic Rock, they like things like Shania Twain and some strange Irish bands that sing with such a strong accent I've got problems to understand them. Anyway, I also like Green Day, but they're not that new either. I don't hava much knowledge of charts or things apart from that. I think if you really want to develop music without losing the feeling or whatever you want to call it of that old music, you have to sound like back in the 60s or 70s, because as pinkskull said, that's where the roots are. I've got a feeling I'm contradicting myself...
  22. Happy new year to you, too. I'm sometimes afraid that all this music like The Beatles and those bands will be forgotten in sixty years.
  23. Well, well, I suppose in 50 years everyone will be looking back to today saying, Oh, I love this old stuff, why wasn't I born back then?
