  1. Whoa, Chris's post was deleted by the server. Now he really must have pissed someone off. What happened to our avatars? They seem to have deevlolved to a state of December?
  2. Well, only when your boyfriends looking...
  3. Classic rock is like crack for me. I just can't get enough and I spend too much money acquiring it. I wake up with cold sweats in the morning until I get my fill for the day. I shoot it up listening to my CD's and then blow a couple lines afterward while trying to remember the words. So roll it all up in a big fat one for me and you get the greatest music ever made!
  4. I like the way Daniel expresses his thoughts in his music and other writings. If he has an opinion, he feels free to share it. I can't handle very much heavy metal myself, but it's really more of the "thrash metal" or "death metal" that I have problems with. I saw wonderful...
  5. I'm down with that. Then I can see soulgirl whoop it up at the bar and get jiggy out on the dance floor.
  6. It appears to be running faster and smoother today, but we're losing a few peoples posts everywhere.
  7. I'm trying, but it's hard when he writes...
  8. The best part, was when she mounted to turtle and rode him farther up the beach. I can't wait to see it!
  9. I think TenYearsGone lost all his posts as well. And I know Rico's posts were missing a little while ago. It's like an epidemic. It's like the black plague is sweeping across Songfacts picking us off one-by-one.
  10. Mighty Joe, that's what you should call your instrument... I haven't name my instrument, but I love wrapping my hand around the neck with my left hand and gently stroking the body with my right hand. It's a guitar you sickos, get your minds out of the gutter... :guitar:
  11. Out on a farm, raising sheep. They're so warm on a cold morning....
  12. Did you just call our lovely Earth-Angel rude and stupid because she tried to answer someone's question? To me, that comment is rude and you sounded stupid as soon as you opened your mouth... My guardian will be after you soon...
  13. Fionnuala Caitlyn Francesca Anne, Ann Patricia Vashti Matthew Claire Therese Earl shay(short form) Wayne Robert Rice George Paul Thomas
  14. I still have dial-up at home. But that's because I'm too cheap to pay for broadband. So I'll check these out at work! Minneapolis... Minneapolis again... Walker Art Center... Inside the Mall Of America... And we even have our own castle! It's a Swedish museum though...
  15. Welcome to Songfacts! We used to have this member who was also named UncleJoe, and he even had the same avatar. But we decided that since he wouldn't stand up from that desk and show us the rest, that we had to ask him to kindly leave.
  16. It did snow a little yesterday edna (or Helena?). But you need to really crank up the dancing tunes and just explode that snow onto Minnesota. My state is very pathetic in the winter without any snow.
  17. I had nothing but troubles for the first 5 hours of the day. I would periodically try to get in, but got nothing.
  18. That sounds interesting. Is it going to be televised?
  19. Sammy, that's just not right. Hilarious, but just paints a horrible picture. ::
  20. Tribute albums (or songs) to Lynyrd Skynyrd are not a new thing. - Lynyrd Skynyrd: Lonesome Skynyrd Time Feat Larry Cordle & LST - Under the Influence: Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama: Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd - Pickin' on Lynyrd Skynyrd: A Tribute - The Blues Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd - Steel Guitar Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd - Country Tribute to Lynyrd to Skynyrd Shinedown recorded a version of "Simple Man". Many people don't like it, but I think it sounds wonderful. The lead singer from Shinedown has a fantastic voice and the song is done in a very simple and pure acoustic style. I got to hear this live last year at Riverfest in Wisconsin and thought the sound was phenomenal (of course this version wasn't acoustic). There's my two cents!
  21. Can I work for you Edna? I'll be your Midwestern USA branch!
  22. Although I must say this as it has bothered me for the past 4 years. IPR (Institute of Production and Recording) opened about 2 years after I graduated from college. They have engineering degrees for audio production/recording along with the business side of things. If that school was around when I started college I would have gone there instead. Then I would have a degree in production/recording and could start my own record label and have all sorts of Midwest bands signed and be living a wonderful life. But instead, all I have are my CD's to listen to.
