Lucky
Ah b-f!! I am in deep admiration of you at this moment! Beefheart (Don Van Vliet)is completely amazing. You have to listen to quite a bit of it to get really get it. And for sure it isn't rock n roll! I can recommend some really good stuff if you are interested! blind-fitter
Go on then; I'm all ears!
Lucky
The VERY best is generally consderded to be Trout Mask Replica. It is however not my favorite. I'm at work, but when I get home this evening I'll give you a bit of a run down... I thought I was the only person on the site to even know this band. Geez I'm just tickled silly! Super Ry 71
Lately I've been a bit turned off by RS Magazine too. But for some reason I just renewed my 2 year subscription Oh my god. Johnny, I thought we were close man. In a totally platonic way, of course. I thought you were better than the rest of them, but it looks like I was wrong. If you ever want to redeem yourself, you must go out and watch twelve-straight hours of reality television. Only then shall I be able to respect you once more. You cannot back out of this. The tribe has spoken.
johnny
I think that Rolling Stone is really good and really bad. I know that only 25% of it will be really good, but it keeps me informed. Spin magazine annoys me too. The greatest source is always the internet. _Laurie_
The last time I read a Rolling Stone magazine was about 20 or more years ago....

TheLizard
The last issue sucked tremendously (except for the five star review of Magic).
Batman
Every other issue of Rolling Stone is a tribute to Rolling Stone. It's really getting old and I'm not going to renew my subscription this January.
TheLizard
I'd rather read about the history of the magazine than anything about King Dickhead Mr. Kid Rock.
Batman
True, but I'd rather read neither.
bluesboy
It's really getting old and I'm not going to renew my subscription this January. That's the way I felt back in 1972 after about 4 years of reading every issue.
