skybluesky Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Geez, just what do Radhi and Fin think Indiana, aka MY homeland is like? They got a lot of corn there, but they got internet too. I think Tim meant internet access along his trip as he is driving from Texas to Indiana. Notre Dame is a private Catholic university with many famous alumni, so I'm sure they have computers and internet
Levis Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 RG, when I left, I barely had an idea as to where I was going to stay. I hardly expect Australia to be internetless ... where do I come from again?
Kevin Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I think Tim meant internet access along his trip as he is driving from Texas to Indiana. How long would that take ? Two days or so ?
skybluesky Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 More than two days. At least four, I think.
skybluesky Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 (edited) You'd think I'd know for sure, bragging about being from Indiana, but Texas is one of the only four states I've not been to. Google maps says~1,302 mi – about 19 hours 57 mins so maybe two days, three if you stretch it out. Edited August 19, 2008 by Guest schooled by Google Maps
The Seeker Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 If I got all the towns right, this is what google maps says: 1,302 mi – about 19 hours 57 mins
skybluesky Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 ^San Antonio Texas to South Bend, Indiana
skybluesky Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I thought so, as we got the same result BTW I'm only 1,968 mi – about 1 day 6 hours away from Peaches
Kevin Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 You'll need to know that when I turn on you !
Kevin Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 If I got all the towns right, this is what google maps says: 1,302 mi – about 19 hours 57 mins So , someone could drive from London to the highlands and back about 3 times , yeah - minus traffic and sheep , of course ?
The Seeker Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I guess so, but why would anyone want to do that?
Uncle Joe Posted August 20, 2008 Report Posted August 20, 2008 So , someone could drive from London to the highlands and back about 3 times , yeah - minus traffic and sheep , of course ? You mean they might stop to "entertain" a sheep?
