Kevin Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 ^ Thanks , eh ?! < Where do we go from here ? v Do you know ?
The Seeker Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Well it's down the road I go Well I got the blues From way down in New Orleans Way on down the road
miamisammy29 Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Damn soccer question! What real sports fan knows anything about SOCCER?!
miamisammy29 Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Ehhh, I don't remember. But evidently the dude played for at least two teams, including those world famous Moonchester Uniteds. I'm not a big soccer fan, but I have heard of them. They suck almost as much as the New York Yankees! The dude's name was something like Peter Schoenlin (or something thereabouts). Most of the other questions were easy, so I'm sure anyone even remotely interested in soccer would have gotten it correct. Me? I'm a moron when it comes to that sport. All I know is that it's low-scoring, you can't use your hands, and you can't smack your opponent upside the head with a stick. Now, tell me, what fun is there in that?
Farin Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 you won't understand for the same reason that I will never understand why somebody could possibly enjoy watching Baseball or American Football as to the question: I have almost no knowledge of English football either, unless they played internationally too
miamisammy29 Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 You know I'm just joshing with you, Dude. It's not such a bad sport. It's not like it's sculling or freestyle male gymnastics. It's cool. But don't tell anyone I said so.
Farin Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 yes, I knew that but waitaminute - what do you have against freestyle male gymnastics? next thing you tell me you don't like female Sumo Wrestling or "Endurance Chess"
miamisammy29 Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Actually I love endurance chess. I like to piss my opponent off by holding my hand on top of my piece for a long, long time after my move, and pretending I'm thinking about changing it.
TheLizard Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 10/10 in 55 seconds, look at me go. Have we figured out who the puck Puck is?
Lucky Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 10/10, but in 5th place. TimLizzy, you beat the mighty Puck! That's the first time that's been done so far, I do believe. Whoever Puck may be.
c_s_1987 Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 Another day, another American sport question. I think I've got one every quiz so far. } I've got 8 or 9 every time so far. Consistent, but I hope I get a 10 sometime soon. I'm one of the only people who hasn't. 8 doesn't seem to be enough to get any more than 3 points.
Shawna Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 I don't understand the point system at all. Under "cumulative" it says I don't have any wins, but under "wins this month" I do have one...??
c_s_1987 Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 (edited) Where it says "this month", I think it is referring to "last month". Weird. Anyway, your win was last month, so it shouldn't really be in this month's wins. Edited May 4, 2007 by Guest
The Seeker Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 9/10. I've no idea who won the 2003 US Open Women's Single Championship (or something like that).

Lucky Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 (edited) Trophy for college football. Sort of the MVP. I'll give it a go at 5 am. see if the brain is working yet. 9/10. Not bad. I missed one about concentration camps (a little heavy), and got the geometry one right. Go figure. Edited May 4, 2007 by Guest
