Farin Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 I even got sugar in my fake teas (aka 'herbal infusions')
The Seeker Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Like peppermint tea? Although a great number of my childhood traumas could have been avoided had I put sugar in fennel or sage tea.
Uncle Joe Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Do you have sugar in your tea? Want some whiskey in your water?
Farin Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Like peppermint tea? made from fresh peppermint
The Seeker Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Oh yeah, my grandmother makes 'real' peppermint tea too... the thought of adding sugar still seems funny to me
Farin Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 did you know that we have a kind of sugar that's specifically made just to put it in tea?

It' s called "salmorejo" and it' s made of tomatoes, boiled eggs, garlic and bread. A cold soup where you put some ham... I'm hooked now... I cannot make it but my Spanish husband does...
