Batman Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 It makes perfect sense for music ripping to be illegal. Not like that's going to stop me, though.
TheTallOne Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 That's where you are wrong, TallOne. We are all friends here at Songfacts. So go make me a copy of every CD in your collection, amigo. Ok all set. Now where do I mail them?
Tenacious_Peaches Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 Do I look like I just tripped into a big bowl of stupid? I'm not giving you my address...you'll just alert the authorities and have me thrown in prison. Leave them on your front step and I'll come by to pick them up. What's your address?
TheTallOne Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 Do I look like I walked outside this morning and crashed into a wall made of idiocy. If I give you my address you'll call the feds on me for burning CD's to give to other people and I'll people so far up my... You know what, I'll stop there. But just to let you know I'm not as stupid I as I look. I couldn't be.
Farin Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 You could hand it over anonymously. Just drop of the pack of CD's in the third trashcan behind the tall oak in the park on thursday 1:30 AM. Peaches can collect it there easily. And no names, addresses etc. are exchanged...

Peaches, I used to go into a friend's Music Store and he really did have a copy of "Yodelling Greats". I used to rag him about it all the time until one day I went in there and he'd actually SOLD it.

miamisammy29 Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 I'm the greatest yodeller ever. Many chicks have told me so.
Jimmy1104 Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 I find this news kind of surprising. I have always thought that ripping a copy of a CD for your own personal use was in compliance with any laws. I still think it is. I think the illegal aspect of ripping CD's is when you sell those CD's for monetary gain. Besides, who is going to report you if CD's are ripped for your own personal use?
