Jenny
Sorry, Count Floyd...howl all you want! Okay, this is my last one for about a week. I am on vacation from tomorrow until next Monday. Nothing exciting, but even if I have time to check in and surf, I won't have time to monitor a game So here it is, folks: 1. How Monk introduced his first assistant 2. Tom Cruise on the interstate? 3. Wasn't her name really Patty? 4. Continuously 5. The colored part of your eye 6. I sent you flowers, wrote you a love song but it didn't work. 7. What a yankee said when he saw two Southerners 8. Let's hope this affection doesn't go bad 9. A kid who lives on the streets 10. There goes the day... Jenny
Such determination, das! You got 1,2, and 5 right. You're close with 6....it's a song about an artist who can be considered "bluesy"..... I'm going to go stuff my face, so guess away before das gets them all and I'll give clues to any unguessed ones after lunch
c_s_1987
As soon as I saw das's post, I thought "these songs look familiar". I have worked out the theme, and once everyone else does, they will work out the rest of the songs, even if they have never heard them before. I won't give them all away, but here are two to help you out. 3. Layla - Derek and the Dominos (I love the clue Jenny) 10. Here Comes The Night - Them Edited June 29, 2006 by Guest

Jenny
Thank you guys for not revealing everything and spoiling the fun for those who haven't figured it out. Let's try this: if no one else legitimately guesses in an hour (1400 my time), c_s, Farin or anyone else who gets the theme can go ahead and finish it off. OLD 55
Here's a newie. I haven't done this for a long time. 1. Same title as a Bon Jovi song, but altogether different. Still there. 2. Ripley's ? 3. It's not about the zoo, but you'd find some there. 4. Would be very drab if you did this. 5. I mightn't be able to do it alone, but - 6. Phone number if you needed the police in this U.S. State. 7. And you are ? 8. Good to see you again ! 9. What most girls dream of eventually. 10.007 ? THE THEME SHOULD BECOME OBVIOUS AFTER A COUPLE ARE ANSWERED.
Farin
Hey people, where are you ? You could at least try to guess some of them... Darryl send me the answers, so I'll be able to monitor while he's away...

Farin
your right on track with #1 but it isn't the song. #5 is the right song, but from another artist (it could get confusing for the theme otherwise...)
