Tenacious_Peaches
I love VH1...they have the greatest pointless countdowns ever. I don't care what you are counting down, I'll watch it. Addictedtoclassic
I love VH1, they always poke fun at all the music that made the 80's the decade that it was. Filled with hair bands, power ballads, and weird new wave music. What an interesting decade it was.
Jenny
Even though I also liked some of those at the time, I have to agree with the choices. If someone decided to serenade me with one of those songs, I think I'd bust out laughing!
invisible_r
this question is kinda vague but is "i drove all night" by celine dion the same as another "i drove all night", kinda rocky, lyrics are something like "i drove all night to get to you is that alright?". They´re not on the list... oh, I see, it´s from the 80´s...
Earth-Angel
I drove all night is a Roy Orbison original, but Celine, Cyndi Lauper and Pinmonkey have all covered it. The latter is country, and Cyndi is..well she boppy! You can hear her version here. Oh, and here is Roy's original.

I love the video for Roy Orbisons which features the bloke from BH 90210 and the girl who played Sarah in the film 'Labyrinth'... Also, 'How Can We Be Lovers' is one of my ultimate favourites!! I guess I'm just really really sad....
katie_sane
I love those VH1 specials! I saw one not long ago about celebrity feuds and it was really good! I've seen the bad love songs one too. They are really interesting and remind you of all those songs you forgot about!
