Floydaholic Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Oh dear, don't let your wife see that post!
Shawna Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 and "neutered" means spayed or castrated. At least in veterinarian terms.
Floydaholic Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 "Fixed" means neutered. Yes, that's the best way to describe it....
Uncle Joe Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 You don't mean you've been.......? Oh Floyd, I'm so sorry.
Lucky Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Fixed being somewhat of a misnomer, for something that no longer works.
Shawna Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 I may have told this story already, but it bears repeating... The father of a friend of Andy's is an old codger... very gruff, but nice as hell. He was talking about a surgery he needed to remove his appendix, and he'd had his gall bladder taken out some time ago. He said, "I'm just having all the stuff removed that doesn't work anymore. Hell, next week I'm going to get castrated."
Floydaholic Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 You don't mean you've been.......? Oh Floyd, I'm so sorry. Ssh, keep it a secret!
MindCrime Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 Doodles Chamone Robinson That looks exactly like my cat, right down to the eye pupils. Is it a male or female?
edna Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 Sue, what an amazing pretty beautiful sweet Doodles...
Floydaholic Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 My dad has killed a few hundred wasps by sucking them up in a hoover because they've somehow made a nest in a corner of the shed, in the roof. If I took a photo of them, would that count as a pet portrait?
Shawna Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 eek! Don't you dare post a photo of a wasp's nest!!! :beady:
Uncle Joe Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 Yeah, that kinda puts a bee in Shawna's bonnet.
Floydaholic Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 eek! Don't you dare post a photo of a wasp's nest!!! :beady: Ok, I won't! I can't even see it, all I see everyday is a new batch of dead ones on the ground in the morning
edna Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 This is Carolina, she's 1 year old and she' s very sweet...
The Seeker Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 She's the stray, right? She looks very happy and healthy. And she shares a name with my older sister
edna Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 Well, she' s half stray, actually, she was born in the abandonned yard between my friend' s house and the neighbour' s house (the owner of her small black mom) Her dad is a California Spangled big cat... But hadn' t she been spotted by my husband she would be a stray by now, in the most expensive neighborhood of Madrid... She' s adorable...
MarcM Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 Whats a California Spangled big cat? I live in California and I have never heard of it! Is it the same as a Bengal?
edna Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 California Spangled Cat. I know that cause we searched through the web what sort of cats were spotted. And cause we saw the dad crossing the street in the neighborhood... mine is mostly stripped now, with few spots but she was a mix of spots and strips when she was a kitten.
MindCrime Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 Pretty cat Edna, but she looks bigger than one year. My 7 year old cat isn't even that big

I bought my ex wife a Bengal, and it was a pretty cool cat. Very vocal. His name was Barney.
