lol hey well a couple of them are local bands so unless you live around the NYC area, it wouldn't make sense if you'd heard of them. Cake is a California band, not too popular but a unique sound that I love - lol I'd check these guys out, though I doubt you would be able to find Rockets & Cars too easily without buying their CD.

Thanks Laura. Hope you have a great time on Songfacts. No I wouldn't have heard of the local bands there. I'm Australian like Katie, but I haven't heard of those 3 Bands she mentioned either. Just as long as they Rock and not Rap.

Our youngest son is in to most of the new age bands. I'll have to ask him.

the part in this song where the cops are yelling through the megaphone, "You are surrounded! Come out with your hands up!" totally reminds me of the scene in "Risky Business" where he's dreaming he's doing the babysitter and the cops are yelling through the megaphone, "Get off the babysitter! I really like Fin's Top Ten Songs I Really Didn't Like For Years But Then Something Happened That Made Me Like Them Very Much.

I'm working on mine ! A few that come to mind are 'Crazy/Gnarls Barkley', 'Jessica/Allman Brothers' and 'Gimme Shelter/ Rolling Stones'.
