behindblueeyez Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 The first one that comes to my mind is Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard ::
Batman Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I like to whistle "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" and "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead"
MuzikTyme Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Games Without Frontiers by Peter Gabriel immediately comes to mind. Winds of Change---------------- Scorpions Patience----------------------- Guns-n-Roses Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay---- Otis Redding Bowie really kicks off a good whistle in Golden Years: Go-oh-old whop, whop, whop! *clap clap* Lots more...
_Jayson_ Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 The two that came to mind for me are both by Guns N' Roses. Civil War and Patience
SoulGirl Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" i whistle that all the time too! also that song from the king and i 'whistle a happy tune'. 'whistle while you work', naturally. jdb whistles a section of the msp song 'you're tender and you're tired' so i whistle that a bit. i lose my voice quite often when i stay out late but i hate not being able to sing so on those days i ust whistle everything i want to sing, so anything really!
edna Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 "Dock of the Bay"... guess it´s obvious... And also "Me and Julio...", BeehindBlue... ChienBlanc mentioned "centerfold"... I´ll try to remember some more.
The Seeker Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Summer Wine and, well, Always Look On The Bright Side of Life.
Jillianne Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Just put your lips together and blow, was in a Britney Spears song.. ::
miamisammy29 Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 MUSICAL INTERLUDE: Always look on the bright side of life. [whistling] Always look on the light side of life. [whistling] If life seems jolly rotten, There's something you've forgotten, And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing. When you're feeling in the dumps, Don't be silly chumps. Just purse your lips and whistle. That's the thing. And... Always look on the bright side of life. [whistling] Always look on the right side of life. [whistling] For life is quite absurd And death's the final word. You must always face the curtain with a bow. Forget about your sin. Give the audience a grin. Enjoy it. It's your last chance, anyhow. So,... Always look on the bright side of death. [whistling] Just before you draw your terminal breath. [whistling] Life's a piece of sh*t, When you look at it. Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true. You'll see it's all a show. Keep 'em laughing as you go. Just remember that the last laugh is on you. And... Always look on the bright side of life. [whistling] Always look on the right side of life. [whistling] Always look on the bright side of life! [whistling] Always look on the bright side of life! [whistling] Always look on the bright side of life! [whistling] Always look on the bright side of life! [whistling] Always look on the bright side of life! [whistling] Always look on the bright side of life! [whistling] Always look on the bright side of life! [whistling] Always look on the bright side of life! [whistling]
Elvish Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Patience is probably #1 for me. Here are some more good ones: Jealous Guy - John Lennon Golden Years - Bowie Two of Us - Beatles
_Annabelle_ Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Patience is probably #1 for me... Jealous Guy - John Lennon Those would be my choices.
SoulGirl Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 oh and 'winds of change' by the scorpions!!
golden_ann Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Don't Worry, Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin and Dock of the Bay.
Carl Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 I like to whistle songs that don't have whitling in them to begin with. My favorite is "Layla." That opening guitar riff and closing section work really well if you can hit the notes.

_jr_ Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Lizzie, I don't know if you realize this or not, but you've a piece of white tape with a red 'X' on it stuck to the right side of your forehead.

_jr_ Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Has anyone mentioned the theme from Andy Griffith? That's fun to whistle.
vincegillstwin Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 Duh! Ajax...Stronger than dirt! Doors - Touch Me.
vincegillstwin Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 I coulda swore that was a Mae West line. And Nicole Kidman wants me, she just doesn't know it yet. I may just have to write her a love song or too many.
vincegillstwin Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 Can't believe no one posted Whistle while you work. Or the Winnie The Pooh theme. Did anyone get the theme to Andy Griffith?
vincegillstwin Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 No, my mother looked like Kate Hepburn. But she's dead.
