Farin
I would have posted "Friedenspanzer", which is much more suitable imho, but you wouldn't understand it... and I mainly thought of that one The Simpson's episode, where they all are singing this song at the end... Levis
I have been taught that when someone asks you for something, you should decline by saying 'no, thank you' or 'i'd rather not' instead of just 'no.' Would you like some salad? No. That's just rude.

Ombre Vivante
I have been taught that when someone asks you for something, you should decline by saying 'no, thank you' or 'i'd rather not' instead of just 'no.' That's just rude. I see some are still not "getting past" this. I've been taught that direct-and-honest responses to direct-and-honest requests are not "rude." In fact, I cannot see why responding with a simple "no" to a request that didn't say "please" would be considered "rude" in any way, shape, or form. I would go insofar as to say the member who requested me to stop talking about music in this music topic was rude to do so in public instead of discussing this matter with me in private (thereby, not bringing anyone else into this issue). Ombre Vivante
Thanks for the nostalgic link! I like weird music too... Suddenly I remember XXX or Cheval Noir... he is great at discussions... Edna, I'm curious: Who do you think is a relevant Spanish singer (or band) on an international scale - other than Julio Iglesias and, maybe, his son. ATC
So can anyone tell me who this generation's Jethro Tull is? And I don't mean Jethro Tull of the 80's and 90's. I mean Jethro Tull of the 70's. Anything reminiscent of Thick as a Brick, or Passion Play, or Songs from the Wood.
daslied
Absolutely nobody that I can think of, which is a shame. Of course, there wasn't really anybody else like them in the 70's either.
ATC
Actually, if you listen to some of the music from Yes, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, and Genesis, they were all pretty close. Tales from Topographic Oceans and Atom Heart Mother are both along the same lines as Jethro Tull. And how can you deny the Court of the Crimson King?
