edna Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 From the song collection of the film МоÑква Ñлезам не верит by Сергей Ðикитины (Russian) That´s "Moscow Does Not Believe In Tears" I loved to listen to that song... it´s like being home again... ...just like with this one... "La Balsa" - Los Gatos Argentinian band from 1965. "Un Anno d´Amore" - Mina (Italian) http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=zXRSjZ4frnY&feature=related "Namoradinha de un amigo meu" - Roberto Carlos http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=xH-6OT9eMO8&feature=related (Portuguese...from Brazil)
Farin Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 "Künstliche Welten" by Wolfsheim (German) my favourite Wolfsheim song is Kein Zurück ("No going back" or "No turning back") always forward step by step there is no turning back and what is now will never be undone time is running out what's done is done and what is now will never happen like that
Farin Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 I like that song! (exciting video, too ) seeing that again made me think of: Volare dunno whose version that is though
Ombre Vivante Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 my favourite Wolfsheim song is Kein Zurück ("No going back" or "No turning back") always forward step by step there is no turning back and what is now will never be undone time is running out what's done is done and what is now will never happen like that You have a most excellent taste in music, and that's a fact - a SongFact

His songs are only rivaled by the likes of Jose Jose and Camilo Sesto.
edna Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Volare dunno whose version that is though Gypsy Kings...
Blue Fish Posted May 6, 2008 Report Posted May 6, 2008 Pink Water Indochine.... <3 <3 I LOVE this song...
Farin Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 I probably already mentioned that one or two [smallest]dozen[/smallest] times, but I really like Latin Simone (Que Pasa Contigo) ~ Gorillaz
Viaene Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 you obviously didn't say it enough as I never heard it before It's not bad and very Latin, but that's not my cup of tea.
Farin Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 I guess it took me a couple dozen listens of the album until it became one of my favourites from it (not that there are any BAD songs on it ) and I just searched and was quite surprised that Sigur Rós hasn't been mentioned yet just as an example: Hoppipolla PS with Björk and Sigur Rós, Icelanders seem to make the most beautiful music videos I know ...
MuzikTyme Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 What was the song that David Spade and Chris Farley sang in the movie,Tommy Boy ? Something like.."Etes Tou? Etes tou?" Need the info...
_Laurie_ Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Oh yeah I remember that...Mocedades - Eres Tu
MuzikTyme Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Laurie continues to impress me with her musical knowledge.
Epiphany Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 I'm kind of obsessed with this song called "Dragostea Din Tei" by a Moldovan band named O-Zone: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Mdb0B3Ib2gE&feature=related .

Farin Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 ^ I'm with Séba on this (note: DON'T look for "Numma Numma" on youtube )
Epiphany Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Now I want to search for it... unless it's one of those scary pop-ups that result with me having to sleep with the light on and continuously call my parents in the middle of the night.
edna Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 ^ I'm with Séba on this (note: DON'T look for "Numma Numma" on youtube ) On lastfm then?
Farin Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 ^ Epiphany, it's not one of this scary things... it's much worse and you won't find it on last.fm - "Numma Numma" is not a (the) song
MuzikTyme Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Here's a good one fo' sho'... Das Model ~ Kraftwerk
