RonJonSurfer
Hynde gives up alcohol Hynde says, "I last drank two weeks ago and I've put the cork in the bottle - I'm never drinking again." Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde has quit drinking - because her wild antics were spiraling out of control. The singer ended up sharing a same-sex smooch with another woman on a recent booze-fueled night out. She admits experience has scared her into giving up alcohol - because she never knows what kind of trouble she will get into. Hynde says, "I last drank two weeks ago and I've put the cork in the bottle - I'm never drinking again. "I've said it a few hundred times before, but I mean it this time. I think I tried to snog a girl. I woke up and thought, 'I can't be doing stuff like that!'" Jenny
Good for her. I wish her success. It's probably twice as tough to give up a vice when you're famous, so I wish her well.
