Steel2Velvet
What Laur, no begging, pleading, cajoling or threatening to get your turn next? ... A strong indicator that Laurie WILL be the next PTT subject. Even though I didn't put him in my TT (his was my #11,) I was glad Dobie Gray is in the final TT. I love that song. One of songwriter Paul Williams' best efforts.

Lea
Very nice classic list. It was a hard list for me because I like most of the songs on it and it reminded me of my own PTT. Classic lists come from people that love classic rock and this list is an excellent example of some very good classic rock :guitar: Loved listening to your music Cyberjudge
Lucky
Wonderful list cj! Hope it makes you as happy as it would me! It's pretty easy to tell those of us that are close in age ... our lists are so similar. I like that.
cyberjudge
It is a great list. I'm very happy with American Pie at #1; it's one of my 3 all-time favorites (the other 2 are also in the top 10). Also, my 3 favorite artists are well represented (S&G 2, Beatles 1 group 1 solo, & Elton 1). And I'm glad to see some classic soul represented with Otis Redding and Dobie Gray. It's a classic 10 that brings me back to my youth. I would have liked to have seen more love for some of the female singers. No-votes for Mariah and Celine, 2 singers who carried me through the '90s, are depressing, even considering the competition. And while I'm not surprised, it would have been nice to see a vote for my wedding song, Somewhere Out There (now you know why it was nominated). karma
fantastic list cj. I love every one of them including Celine and I do listen to her and buy her cds. She has an amazing voice. This voting seems to get harder and harder.
