scott
Okay outta your list I'd say Audioslave Sgt. Pepper's In Utero. Though I must ask, what Beatle's albums do you currently own? Because I would highly reccomend some of those if you don't already have them.
Danielj
only the #1 for the Beatles, They are EXPENSIVE along with Zeppelin's any other suggestions
scott
Wait for 'em to go on sale, here's my reccomendation for Beatles then ------------------------ 1)The White Album (expensive as hell though) 2)Sgt. Pepper's 3)Revolver 4)Magical Mystery Tour 5)Abbey Road 6)Let It Be (get the regular and 'naked' at the same time) 7)Rubber Soul That's the order in which I would get 'em, though add in the album that has 'Twist and Shout' on it (I've temporarily forgotten it) that's my favorite 'early Beatles' album Also The White Album Let It Be Abbey Road and Revolver(kind of) are more 'rock 'n' roll' than the other late Beatles stuff whereas Magical Mystery Tour and Sgt. Pepper's are more psychedelic.
Aunt_Acid
I heard Master of Puppets by Metallica. I don't know what kind of music you are into, but I think it sucked. If I were you I would get something else. Dark Side of The Moon is good if you don't already have it, so is The Wall, both by Pink Floyd. If you are into ELO Face The Music is a good album to get. I got essential ELO and it blows. Zeppelin 4 is another gem. Hope I've helped.
Danielj
I have Dark Side Of The Moon On Record and I own Echoes (they're greatest hits) Does Master Of Puppets Suck? I have only heard 2 songs and I liked 'em, but I supppose the rest could suck. Thanks Scott I will remember that order
Aunt_Acid
Well I guess it depends if you like that kind of stuff. See, I didn't like any of the songs on MoP, but that's not really my style. If you liked a couple, you might like them all.

Jenny
If you like greatest hits compilations, like I do, then try "Best of Bowie" "ZZ Top's Greatest Hits" and The Rolling Stones' "Forty Licks" I also like the Squeeze's "Singles"
cosmosis
The Velvet Underground and Nico. I wouldn't make it without it.
XXX
6.stone Temple pilots-Thank You 7.The Doors-Greatest Hits 24.U2-1980-1990 28.Rush-The Spirit Of Radio: Greatest Hits 1974-1987 These are the ones I'd watch out for in your list and Rush would take precedent over the others followed by STP. You should buy used CDs off Amazon. Sometimes they have them at such ridiculous prices that the shipping costs more. Local record stores should have a "used" section. More tunage for your buck
