  9. I have a room just off the den that I call my Music Room. It's where I store all my old LP's, my CD Racks, Music Books, Memorobilia, Stereo Equip., etc. I'v always wanted to decorate the walls of the room in framed Classic Rock Album Covers. It looks like I may finally be able to do so. I need some suggestions...with pics if possible. I already have about 40 covers that I want to use. I'll name a few to give you an idea: Layla, Derek And The Dominos Aja, SteelyDan Breakfast In America, Supertramp Down To The Ground, Joy Of Cooking Sild Degrees, Boz Scaggs After Bathing At Baxters, Jefferson Airplane Tea For The Tillerman, Cat Stevens ElDorado,ELO A few by Yes.. Anyway, you get the idea. Any suggestions? Thank you!
  10. Bonnie Raitt had a great song called Good Enough...and it has that refrain repeated at the end.
  11. Man Bazooka, you wasted no time in hitting the nail on the head. Couldn't agree more. That song personified the 60's and early 70's like no other. It was the rallying point for most of young America. A 70's song that also had a big impact on the thinking of us all was Ohio by CSNY. But Dylan was the Man!

  15. Here are the lyrics for Leaving On A Jet Plane. In the movie it's sung by John Denver who wrote the song about leaving his wife to go aon a concert tour. However, there're no lyrics saying "it's all right". Lyrics for: Leaving On A Jet Plane I'm ... I'm ... All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go I'm standin' here outside your door I hate to wake you up to say goodbye But the dawn is breakin', it's early morn The taxi's waitin', he's blowin' his horn Already I'm so lonesome I could die So kiss me and smile for me Tell me that you'll wait for me Hold me like you'll never let me go 'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane I don't know when I'll be back again Oh, babe, I hate to go I'm ... There's so many times I've let you down So many times I've played around I'll tell you now, they don't mean a thing Every place I go, I think of you Every song I sing, I sing for you When I come back I'll wear your wedding ring So kiss me and smile for me Tell me that you'll wait for me Hold me like you'll never let me go 'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane I don't know when I'll be back again Oh, babe, I hate to go Now the time has come to leave you One more time, oh, let me kiss you And close your eyes and I'll be on my way Dream about the days to come When I won't have to leave alone About the times that I won't have to say ... Oh, kiss me and smile for me Tell me that you'll wait for me Hold me like you'll never let me go 'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane I don't know when I'll be back again Oh, babe, I hate to go And I'm leaving on a jet plane I don't know when I'll be back again Oh, babe, I hate to go But I'm leaving on a jet plane (Ah ah ah ah) Leaving on a jet plane (Ah ah ah ah) Leaving on a jet plane (Ah ah ah ah) Leaving on a jet plane (Ah ah ah ah) Leaving on a jet plane (Ah ah ah ah) Leaving on a jet plane (Ah ah ah ah) Leaving on a jet plane (Ah ah ah ah) Leaving on a jet plane (Ah ah ah ah) (Leaving) On a jet plane So, waddaya think?

  20. My Dad liked Big Band, Jazz and Classical. Mom liked Pop and Big Band. I like it all. Now my son digs to Motown, Classic Rock and some Pop (along with his contemporary music like Dave Matthews, et al). I think he's beginning to like some Jazz, too. He can't dance like his old man though. Kid's rhythm is all messed up. LOL!
