  1. You want to hear some great intros, get yourself a copy of Ted Nugent's Double Live Gonzo. A master of motormouth mayhem.
  2. This thread is just like the other image threads, except it's being condensed down to one coed thread. In order to clear some bandwidth, the 'hot guys' and 'hot gals' threads will be purged from the Songfacts data base. (I don't know if that's what it's called, but it sounds official) Both threads will be left up for a few more days so if anyone wants to sift through them and save any images, or whatever, they'll have the oppourunity. I will even start the thread with two people, a male and a female. Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher
  3. If you can't be constructive and helpful, then you shouldn't say anything. It serves no purpose. Just my opinion.
  4. Did you just read Earth Angel's post about constructive criticism? If you think it's a crap poem, that's fine. But you aren't serving any purpose by saying "It's cr*p", other than to hurt the poet's feelings. So yes, if that's how you feel, then you should just keep quiet. There might be others who find it an alright piece of verse, and they might make helpful suggestions.
  5. I must have seen the same show you did, only on Germany. However, Elliot Easton and Dave Robinson weren't with them. It was just Ocasik, Benjamin Orr, and Greg Hawkes. They sounded horrible. It, too, was a show in a small club.
  6. How about Secret Lover. It's done by Atlantic Starr. Here are the lyrics: Here we are the two of us together Taking this crazy chance to be all alone we both know that we should not be together, cause if they found out it could mess up, both our happy homes. I hate to think about us all meeting up together, as soon as I looked at you it would show on my face. Then they'll know that we've been loving each other. They can never no, oh no, we can't leave a trace. Secret Lovers that's what we are, we shouldn't be together but we can't let it go, oh no, cause we love each other so. Sittin at home I do nothing all day but think about you and hope that your ok. Hoping you'll call before anyone gets home I'll wait anxiously, alone...by the phone. How could something so wrong be so right. I wish we didn't have to keep our love out of sight Living two lives just ain't easy at all but we gotta hang on and after fall. Secret lovers that's what we are trying so hard to hide the way we feel cause we both belong to someone else but we can't let it go, cause what we feel is oh so real so real....so real... You and me, are we fair is this cruel, or do we care. can they tell what's in our minds maybe they've had secret love all of the time In the middle of makin love we notice the time we both get nervous cause it's way after nine. Even though we hate it, we know it's time that we go we gotta be careful, so that no one will know. Secret lovers, that's what we are, trying so hard to hide the way we feel, cause we both belong to someone else, but we can't let it go cause what we feel is oh so real so real...so real....so real....so real!
  7. I told you Maud does this on purpose. Comes in here once in a while, gives some really vague clues, then sits back and laughs at us. "Dance, puppets! Dance!" You should post in some of the other forums Maud.
  8. SRV sang all the vocals on all his cds.
  9. Actually, this may sound odd, but the entire "Charlie Brown Christmas" cd, by Vince Guaraldi, is very relaxing.
  10. Oooohh..........this is interesting, ER. You should pose this question in Music Discussion.
  11. You know, I was out yesterday with my kids, and I always let them bring cds to listen to. They had the soundtrack to the Disney movie "Spirit". It was done completely by Bryan Adams, and I must admit, it is not bad. It's peaceful and relaxing.
  12. There is a disco version of Have a Cigar? This is a disturbing thought that will haunt me for the rest of the day.
  13. Yes, but Maud's original post says there are no lyrics, folks. I personally think Maud does this to drive us crazy. ::
  14. Wow. Such cynicism from someone who lives in Christmas.

    This thread isn't dead yet?
  17. You are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fired. Get out! Leave your sh%t and just GET OUT!!!
  18. I am thinking John Bohnam might be a problem.
  19. Maud, have you been drinking? Can you narrow it down to a decade? Was it on the radio? Is it uptempo, or mello? Come on Maud, get in the game!!! The first two 'older' instrumentals that popped into my head were: Frankenstien~ Edgar Winter Group Classical Gas ~ Mason Williams.
  20. ^ I must agree with that. If you sneak around and keep the house quiet, that's the only way Nick is going to sleep. If the house is silent. Have him used to the tv, normal speaking voices. Everyday sounds when he falls asleep.

"Boy, I don't why they call this stuff Hamburger Helper, I think it does just fine on it's own, don't you Clark?" "Ah, you're the gourmet around here, Eddie.....there's no meat in this?" "You get plenty of meat at home, Clark" Anyway, we have a thing around here that's similar to a salad sammich. It's called a garden sammich. Slice up some tomato, onion and cucumber. Salt & pepper, mayo. Presto. End of hijacking.
  22. This is great. I almost started keeping a list, but I figured, why? I have one right here. Thanks everyone. I'm going to wait a bit longer. Oh, and I forgot about Back Off Boogaloo!!
