edna
nah, Cats are more intelligent Really? I love cats but I don´t know if they are "intelligent"... they sure are cool though...
Farin
they are intelligent enough to not always do what their owner tells them to do... they have their own head you know?
edna
Yes, that´s why I prefer cats over dogs. They also smell better... well, mine at least, because I wash her with bath foam
The Seeker
They really do smell a lot nicer... bath foam or not.
Levis
But doggies look like this! and they love you and they go sniffing your ear and that tickles and then they lick your nose and look after you even if they're just one-tenth your size. And they listen to you when you talk to them and wag their tail and play with you
The Seeker
Cats do the same things.
Levis
And then you say that your cat is more like a dog
The Seeker
But only because you associate those things more with dogs than cats.
Levis
Yes... we associate more with dogs than cats because they are doggie traits and we like doggie traits ergo dogs are nicer.
edna
Cats do the same things. That´s true... and they don´t lick your face and drool...

The Seeker
Your cats don't, edna? True about the drool though.
edna
My cat Ratosita tries to lick my face, yes, and legs too... but I don t let her do that... The little one is much too wild, she´ s not very friendly with me and she´s in love with my husband...
MarcM
I f you think dogs are not independent thinkers, you have never owned a basset hound... My mom had one that was as stubborn and independent as any cat. I like both, btw...
TheLizard
Tim, how are you getting screwed over? No offense, but I'd rather not go into it. Thanks for being concerned, though.

Kevin
My pitchers just pitched 2 complete game shut-outs ... yet people are starving in India ! However , many people have ALWAYS been starving in India and they continue to pump out the people , so I guess I'll just sit back and enjoy my complete game shut-outs , and not give the starving in India another thought ! Shawna
I get up at 6 a.m., get ready for school, get my kid up at 7 as I'm walking out the door, spend 4-5 hours at school taking dictation non-stop, and then transcribing, trying to do speed-building, hoping I'll pass a test that day. Then I go straight to work and work until 5:30. Then I come home and get dinner together, do some more work (transcribing sound files, writing Songfacts, etc.), then I get on SF to unwind a little, then collapse in a heap and hopefully go to sleep. It's wearing me out. There are people all over the world who don't have a roof over their heads, or food to eat, or two dimes to rub together, period. I have all that. And although I'm exhausted for good reasons, they're exhausted because it's the only way they can be.
