Levis
I thought up my nominations for the next ten. One Beatles song, one Stones song. I'll do it. Now these two are mine. No one else touches the big names, okay?

_Laurie_
Thanks 55....I love Dancing In The Moonlight...I knew it would do well, but I was surprised to see it at #1 coz there were so many great nominations this time around!
OLD 55
Good on you Laurie. I thought Fever had it all sewn up, but Dancing In The Moonlight got a 3rd and a 1st from the last 2 voters. Did you see my card you're sending (about 30 Posts back) ?.

OLD 55
I got your card Laurie. Thanks No - that was for the person who guessed the song that got to #11 twice ! I'm not built for Speedos any more. About 40 years ago I bought a white swimming costume, and wore it just once.

OLD 55
I thought up my nominations for the next ten. One Beatles song, one Stones song. I'll do it. Now these two are mine. No one else touches the big names, okay? Good on you Radhi. Don't let Farin boss you around. However, when I tell everyone I'm nominating Beatles and Stones songs, I don't do it to reserve them, but to give people notice so they can make their nominations a little more 'competitive' if they want to ! I did withdraw three: once when 4 other people also nominated Beatles' songs, and twice when I thought the other nominations couldn't really compete with them for the #1 spot ! Good sport, aren't I ? Now I know how tiresome I must have sounded when I criticized the (then) perennial nominations of Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix songs.

OLD 55
No Lucky, I've decided not to participate in next week's Ten. We've still get a lot of preparation to do for our trip, so I'll say my farewells now. I'll leave you and Farin in charge. Everyone be good to each other while I'm away. Rayzor
Yaaay!! One of my noms made the top 10!! And I wasn't even here to vote for it! (Locomotive Breath ~ Jethro Tull) Thanks factors for being so patient, although I wasn't able to come around to vote (except for that impatient bugger, Kevin!) We've still get a lot of preparation to do for our trip, so I'll say my farewells now. you mean you won't even have 5 minutes to post your nominations on monday, and maybe 15 minutes to post your votes on thursday or so? OLD 55
Martin, I could post my nominations on Monday morning, but we hope to be about 1000 + Kilometres up North by Thursday - and that's our time, but I'd have to vote very early Wednesday morning with whatever nominations had been made. No, I'll pass on this one. Bye All !
