costellogirl
Has any one heard of Scissor Sisters? I saw a video for their song Take Your Mama Out. The song reminds me of very early really good 70's era Elton John. They sound sort of post glam pop, like Sweet, or Elton John as I said above. Tenacious_Peaches
I saw that video and really I liked it! They do sound Elton John-esque...and he wears feathers on his shirt. Quite flamboyant. ::
Jillianne
I like 'Laura' but the girl, doesn't do anything, she just stands in the back looking pretty, the lad is pretty cool though
Foxy
Apparently their album is really good. I like a couple of their songs, but dunno if I could sit and listen to a whole album. Great to hear something a bit different though!
SoulGirl
the frontman is incredibly flamboyant! i think i wrote here before that he reminds me of a cross between freddie, bowie and elton. the only guy i can imagine inspiring lager louts to scream 'you're a legend' at the stage, when they'd probably beat himup if they passed him on the street! ana matronic is fiesty and really cool, her singing on the album is great, very important to the songs and she's great onstage! they just rock rock rock! they blew me away at oxegen! i listen to their album straight through quite often but i could understand how it might be too much for some people. some brilliant party songs on it though. i especially love the very elton-esque ballad 'mary', track four on the album. XXX
I've heard better: Sweeney Todd, The Sweet, The New York Dolls, Nick Gilder, and even Hanoi Rocks. Pass.
Tenacious_Peaches
I saw them on SNL and the lead male singer was wearing a purple velvet halter jumpsuit. Fabulous, darling. ::
SoulGirl
hehe! at oxegen he was wearing pink snakeskin boots, pink skintight snakeskin drainpipes and a purple silk shirt tied in a knot at the front which he took off halfway through to reveal nothing but pink suspenders underneath - stunning! Ombre Vivante
I had to revive this to say this is, undoubtedly, one of the worst bands I have heard this century.

Ombre Vivante
Of course. They are much worse than THAT I heard the CIA uses the scissor sisters tactic to pry confessions in their secret dungeon detention camps. I believe it.
