You're heading straight for it, Mr. bazooka.

Landscape is correct for the artist; it's just the song title you need to sort out. As it is, your anagram for the song is much neater than mine, and will only require minimal juggling to arrive at the actual title you're looking for. :)

Sorry if it's a bit obscure; I only know this song made it across the pond because I remember Ten Pea mentioning it a long time ago. It wasn't even a big hit over here, though Landscape's previous single had been.

 That would be

Norman Bates - Landscape

I should admit bazooka was not familiar with the song or artist, but got myself a quick education.

Avocado Ministry Union - Aimless Loon

I haven't had much time to work on this one since my computer was down for almost 2 weeks, but I did get to work on it a little bit and I must say that with only 11 letters in the artist or band name, I thought it would be a breeze.

Wow, was I wrong.

I can't come up with anything from those letters.

Maybe it's a weird name that I've never heard of.

I'm not giving up yet. I'll try again tomorrow.

Your Mind Is On Vacation - Mose Allison

That was a tough one, Bazooka.

I never heard of the guy.

I found him by googling to see if an Allison Mose existed.

Mose Allison is a unique maker of cool cool (double cool) jazz and blues, and clever lyrics.

You may not know him, but you've most likely heard covers of his songs.

Young Man Blues - The Who

I'm Not Talking - The Yardbirds

Seventh Son - Johnny Rivers

Everbody's Crying Mercy - Bonnie Raitt, Elvis Costello

Parchman Farm - John Mayall, Blue Cheer

And here's one of my favorites

Bazooka,

I did a little searching with the little bit of time I had these past few weeks but came up with nothing.

Either you've got a stumper here or my brain is on vacation.

I think it's time to ask for a small hint.

[smaller]I wouldn't be surprised if you've never heard of this great group out of New Orleans. They certainly deserve more notice.

They've put out eight studio CDs and a couple Live ones since 1989, but hibernated between 1996 and 2002.

They get around. Watch for them at a smaller venue near you.[/smaller]

Time For The Sun To Rise - The Subdudes

That was a tough one, Bazooka.

Thanks for the hint.

One of my earliest deciphers was "The Sub Dudes" but I didn't bother to look up if they were a band or not cuz I thought, "nobody would name their band this" and I was also mostly trying for well-known names.

This time around, I thought, "let me google it to see if they exist".

Next time, I'm going to look up all names no matter how goofy they sound.

Hello Dad Dairy Men - No Vent Has Pens

Brad's come up with doozey this time. Yours truly has hit a brick wall.

Let's see if one of you hundreds of other eager anagram descramblers can ease my worried mind.

Modern Day Delilah - Van Stephenson

[smaller]That one was torture. The song and artist somehow completely bypassed bazooka's cognition ( I relied on 60s and 70s stuff during the 1980s). I worked from your hint. Thank you.[/smaller]
