Uncle Joe
CanAm - is "The Shape I'm In" the same song that Fleetwood Mac did a live version of on their "Live" CD back in the '80s? Can-Am, if I may..... No Shawna...it's this: Go out yonder, peace in the valley Come downtown, have to rumble in the alley Oh, you don't know the shape i'm in Has anybody seen my lady This living alone will drive me crazy Oh, you don't know the shape i'm in I'm gonna go down by the wa - ter But i ain't gonna jump in, no, no And i hear that that's where she's been? oh! Out of nine lives, i spent seven Now, how in the world do you get to heaven Oh, you don't know the shape i'm in I just spent 60 days in the jailhouse For the crime of having no dough Now here i am back out on the street For the crime of having nowhere to go Save your neck or save your brother Looks like it's one or the other Oh, you don't know the shape i'm in Now two young kids might start a ruckus You know they feel you trying to shuck us Oh, you don't know the shape i'm in and it's got my vote. Dappled
I was quite surprised by that nomination, Dappled it's a cool song though! Yes, it is, and they're from my hometown! Actually, the 'yeah, yeah, yeah' isn't part of the title of the song. I just put that in to attract attention to it. They do sing it though, and I guess it's a nod at the Beatles. CanAm
Thanks for the assist, Joe! I'm sorry Shawna, but I'm not familiar with the Fleetwood Mac song you mentioned. Is it a good one? If so, I'll have to check out the album on which it appears.

Shawna
Actually, Laurie... it's Lindsey Buckingham that sings it, and he joined when Stevie joined.... It's on their "Live" album, came out just after "Tusk" I think.

OLD 55
Will you stop goosing around and recruit us some new Nominators please Shawna ? From herein your title is Recruitment Officer. I don't care how you get them: use your feminine wiles, brute force, whatever it takes, OK ? See if you can get P E W. Pew would be a major coup, but his Posts would have to be limited to 1,000 words or less. AND you don't get off scot free either Laurie ! I have a job in mind for you too.
