RyanTurtle Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Okay....I presented this idea a while back...but as a movie idea...well...I've recently decided to make it into a book...so yeah. I'm wanting to write a book about a group of teenagers in 1980 who go to New York City to mourn John Lennon's death...that's a very general synopsis...I need a title. I've been thinking of a few... Come Together and Watching the Wheels Like I said, those are only potential titles. Your ideas will be greatly appreciated.
daslied Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I would not name it with any sort of Lennon reference. There are a million books with such names, and you're likely to get more of a buzz if you do something different. Is it centrally about Lennon, or is it about the group of friends? Make that the focus of your title.
RonJonSurfer Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 I agree, if Lennon isn't the focal point of the book (the friends are)...then the title should reflect sonething about them or the journey. Something like, "December of Our Lives"...you get the idea.
RyanTurtle Posted September 20, 2006 Author Report Posted September 20, 2006 Fair point......I have an idea........but I'm not tellin' you the title....just look for it on bookshelves next.....eventually....
