Batman
In response to the last three posts: Oh yeah, I forgot all about Husker Du. "Zen Arcade" would probably take "Surfer Rosa"'s spot. The Doors I mentioned, but Springsteen, Dylan, and Aerosmith are three artists who a lot of peopel seem to like, but I just don't connect with I guess. Dylan's the one I like best out of the three, though. I think that CCR is a tad overrated, but they're still fun to listen to. If anyone else wants to make a list...I grant you my permission. c_s_1987
Most of my favourites have been mentioned already, but I also like Bon Jovi and Pearl Jam. I've only just recently realised the "British rock is best" trend is also somewhat true for metal. The bands that started metal music (although some aren't really metal bands) - Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest and Deep Purple, as well as Iron Maiden, are all British. Ombre Vivante
I suppose not. Does electronica count as rock? I don't. I'm sure you could find an Electronica band or artist with enough electric guitars and live drumming in some of their songs to be able to pass it off as "Rock" music. I'm curious as to which Electronica artist you would choose.
