O.K., here's some more Clues.

Q2. Is an R & B early 70s song. Who(m) would you sing a lullaby to ?

Q4. This is a late 60s love breakup/ song by a Group, a bit like "End Of The World". Not a natural disaster.

Q6. A 1998 song. Huge Hit in the U.K. and Top 5 U.S.

:)

Also, my sons have told me not to play dice at the Casino. 7 and 11 are winning numbers. You "crap out"/ lose on 2 and 12.

I can still beat them at Poker. ;)

Never Ever...All Saints? 6

Well done Laurie and bazooka. Have to call it a draw !

Girl Group All Saints were really big in the U.K. from 1997 to 2001. They had 5 #1s in that short time. "Never Ever" sold Double Platinum there. It was also #1 in Australia and #4 in America in 1998.

.................................................

Q#4 is a lovely R & B Ballad from 1968. You mightn't know it? The lead singer is one of Joe's favorites, having previously been with a successful 50s Group. How come there's never a Joe around when you need one ?

Good try Laurie ! :)

Not as well known a Group as the Temptations though. And not a duet.

CLUE: The Group's named after a famous U.S. structure, and I believe my initial clue fits in well. You'll know it as soon as you see it.

Some of you must not have heard this song. A bit before your time, but it reached #3 in America in early 1969, so it's not unknown. Good on you Laurie. You never give up and you take the time to read previous clues. I hope you get it.

I remember reading Dale Carnegie's book "How To Stop Worrying And Start Living". One of his suggestions in beating worry was to look at the ultimate bad thing that could occur in a stuation. (Not in those words).
