MarcM
I would of thought you would have had rain by now, Lucky. It rained all day yesterday. It is off and on now.
Lucky
It looks like rain, but they only give us a 30% chance. It doesn't smell like rain. It rained at my dad's place in Bakersfield yesterday. That's a big deal. Dad said it was the first time a drop has fallen since March.
Shawna
our Halloween was the hottest on record since 1986. It's still in the '90s, but this week's supposed to cool down considerably. On Wednesday we're going to San Diego for an extra long weekend, and I heard it's going to get into the '40s at night there. I'm packing coats and sweaters! Lucky
Ok, I lied. It's now misting just a bit. Maybe it'll turn into rain! :hopeful: Shawna, make sure you bring golves and a hat too. Brrr. (you are kidding, right??) It's rain!! MarcM
It has been on and off all day. Dry now, but looks like it could start at any second. So far, I have not had any reports of mud slides from the fires we had a few weeks back. Anything yet, Lucky?
Lucky
It's spitting. There's a steady mist, which every so often turns into real raindrops, but it only lasts moments. it's close enough for me. At least I have the illusion of a rainy day. Thanks edna, we'll take it! J Hill
It's un-natually warm for November here, now. Forecast says days to come at almost 70 F (if I knew what that was in C I'd say, but I don't) All I know is that it's weird. All the tiny flying insects have suddenly come back to life in this strange false spring... none of us know quite what to do. We were just sharpening our snow shovels and putting in salt, now who knows? With 'the economy' revealed as a house of cards, we're all justa bit on edge anyway, so any little thing out of the ordinary, like good weather, kind of scares me. So, that's the weather for now. Next, just another day! Oh. and another new boss, just the same, but completly different, than the old boss, right after this .... __________ _________ VOTE LIBERTARIAN Edited November 4, 2008 by Guest added political statement
Levis
Yesterday was monsoon, today is spring. And it's supposed to be spring too. Not like Mr. Hill's fake spring ^. I've always got news for this thread
