katie_sane Posted April 2, 2005 Report Share Posted April 2, 2005 Since I am doomed to never see Alice Cooper in concert (see random thoughts - what's bothering you thread) I have to content myself with cds. I have about 10 of Alice's songs on my computer, but I want to buy a cd, a greatest hits or best of I think to start with, can anyone recommend any to me? I went to the record shop here and they had no Alice Cooper at all. In the online cd club I'm in they have 'The Beast Of Alice Cooper' and 'A Fistful Of Alice' but they both seem to leave out a lot of tracks. _jr_ Posted April 3, 2005 Report Share Posted April 3, 2005 Both wrong. Killers is when Alice Cooper's band hit it's stride, fellas. It's as musically sound as anything you're going to hear. It's crunchy, in a kick a## sort of way. He had a stretch there with Killers, Love it to Death, Billion Dollar Babies, Muscle of Love, Goes To Hell, Welcome to my Nightmare, From the Inside, and a few others, where not only are the lyrics witty and slick, but the band is on their game.
