The Reality of Things

I'd pick a street in any neighborhood in America.

Have cameras watch people get up, go to work. Come home 8 hours later, play a little hoops in the driveway with their kids.

Take out the trash on Monday night.

Cut the grass on Saturday.

Shovel the drive in winter.

The prize would be retiring and puttering around your tomato plants. Giving your grandkids gum.

You said reality, right?

Dave's premise is nowhere near reality for me.

Have cameras watch people get up, go to work. Come home 8 hours later, play a little hoops in the driveway with their kids.
I don't have a basketball hoop. And I've never played basketball with my kids.

Take out the trash on Monday night.

I take out the trash on thursday night.

Cut the grass on Saturday.

I cut the grass three times a week.

Shovel the drive in winter.

I shovel the drive in autumn.

The prize would be retiring and puttering around your tomato plants. Giving your grandkids gum.
The only thing I'd give my grandkids was a smack on the face and a list of chores.

So you see, this reality show would be like a whole new world to me.
